Thank you for your interest in becoming a network provider with WellCare of NC.
WellCare of NC contracts for NC Medicaid and Medicare Advantage. The form below should only be used to request network contracts. To inquire whether a practitioner is linked/affiliated to your group’s active contract, or notify us of any provider data discrepancies, demographic changes or have other participating provider questions, reach out to your assigned Provider Engagement Representative or email the Provider Engagement Team at ncproviderrelations@wellcare.com.
NOTE: Prior to contracting with WellCare of NC for NC Medicaid, providers must be enrolled and credentialed in NC Tracks. NC Tracks is the “source of truth” for approved provider enrollment data. Additionally, contracting for the Medicare Advantage network requires credentialing approval, prior to loading as network provider (even after a contract has been executed as contract effective dates and network participation effective dates for Medicare are independent of one another).
An Assigned Contract Negotiator from the WellCare of NC Contracting Team will reach to you directly, with next steps. Please note the submission of this form does not indicate or confirm network participation. Network participation is determined upon the receipt of an executed contract (signed by both parties) and confirmed by way of welcome letter with a network effective date.
